Descriptive Paper Strategy for SSC CHSL Exam

The Staff Selection Commission has changed the selection process for SSC CHSL. Now it will be done on the basis of three phases i.e. Tier-I (Objective Type Paper), Tier-II (Descriptive Test), and Tier-III skill test/typing test. After the 1st phase of selection, the Commission is going to organize the SSC CHSL Descriptive Test.

It is a Pan & Paper mode examination for 100 marks. This paper has been introduced to assess the writing skills of the candidates which is necessary for Government jobs. In this paper, the participant have to write an essay and letter.

The duration of this exam will be one hour, and the candidates must need 33% marks to qualify in this test. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. The part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will not be evaluated.

Note: The marks of the Descriptive Test will also be included in the merit list.
