SSB Physical Test Details 2022 – Sashastra Seema Bal Physical Test Details, Selection Process and SSB Physical Test Date online here.
Sashastra Seema Bal which is commonly known as SSB has completed the recruitment process for various every year. It is commonly known as SSB and works under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India.
SSB will publish the recruitment notice for various posts such as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), Sub-Inspector (SI), Head Constable (HC), Constable and many other posts. The selection process for these posts is based on various factors that are given below.
SSB Selection Process
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Documentation
- Written Examination/ Assessment
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
The candidates who have applied for SSB will be invited for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). After that the shortlisted candidates selected for Physical Standard Test and then the Documentation and Written exam and after that Medical Exam. SSB Physical Test Date will declare by the selection
SSB Physical Test Details – PET Test
All candidates will have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test, which will be qualifying in nature. The candidates have to complete the running of 3.2kms in a given time.

Physical Standard Test – SSB Physical Test Details
In SSB Physical Standard Test candidates’ height, chest and weight shall be measured. The height, chest and weight data for SSB selection is mentioned here.

Weight
The weight of the candidate should be proportionate to height and age as per detail is given below.
Documentation
In Documentation, the candidates will have to produce all original documents/certificates.
Written Examination
The candidates who will qualify the above phases is selected for the written exam which is divided into two parts. Part 1 consists of 100 questions from General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, General English & Hindi, General Reasoning for 100 marks and part -2 will also consist 100 questions from the technical subject.
Qualifying marks for these exams-
- 50 % for General & Ex-Servicemen
- 45 % for SC/ST/OBC.
Medical Test
After these phases, the candidates will be invited for the medical test.
SSB Final Selection
The Final Selection for SSB will be based on the merit list. The SSB merit list will be designed on the basis of marks in the written exam. The candidates who score high in written exam will be selected for these posts.
The SSB Merit list will be affected by the following-
- The candidate who secures more marks in Paper-I will be ranked higher.
- In the case where marks mentioned above are also equal, the candidate senior in age will be
ranked higher. - In case, the date of birth are also the same; then the candidates will be given priority based on the
alphabets of their names (in dictionary pattern) i.e. A- first, B- second, C- third etc.
